Press Pause
Pause (verb): A way to stay intentional amidst a season where everything feels a bit rushed, a little too busy or unorganized, and just slightly “too much.” (definition my own)
Ways to pause this season:
- Press pause on your day and your to do list. Focus on one thing and do it well or do it until you complete it.
- Pause to have that conversation you’ve been putting off.
- Pause to look at your child in the eyes and reconnect after a long day for both of you.
- Pause to watch the sunrise or set, to watch leaves fall from the trees or to watch snowflakes fall.
- Pause to drink your coffee or tea without scrolling.
- Pause to eat something nourishing, workout, nap or get a massage.
- Pause to love the one standing in front of you.
Your pauses will change your mood, change your day, and change the season—recalling what this season is truly about: the One who paused everything for you. Jesus.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
